Well, I bit the bullet and bought a motorcycle! It needs a little more work but it should be up and running in a couple weeks! I still need to get my permit, insurance, and registration, but I am soooo excited!

I love iPhone OS 3.0!

I'll probably update this more now that I can use a landscape keyboard to post to LJ.

Life is pretty lame right now. My best friends prefer to hang out with other people now, which I get because they are awesome people. I just wish I saw them more than once a month. That's life, I guess.

I'm going to try to go to the gym 3 times a week now that I have this free time. Since I started working at the railroad, I've developed a gut and I'm not happy with it. I had a pretty decent body before. I wasn't steroids big but I was cut and all that. Now I'm a pudgy mess. I only went to the gym 3 times a week then and only for a half hour at time, too.

I miss being able to play drums whenever I please. My main band has been suffering for almost a year because of it. I wish my sister would just move out already. I want to redo that room so bad. Do some minor sound-proofing, new coat of paint, fix the electrical outlets and what have you. I'm sick of beig confined just to my room, which is very tiny with a big bed, there is no room for anything and it sucks.

I wish I had known Apple was developing a new iPhone. I've had mine since the end of January and the new 3G S looks awesome.

I've been pretty good with saving my money, too! I worked 12 hours overtime last week and I'm getting around the same this week. I just want to have a lot for when Allicia and I go on vacation in July. Not staying anywhere, though. We're jus gonna do something different everyday which will be nice. Six Flags, Nantucket, Hampton, and who knows what else.

I never know how to end any blog type of thing.

Bye?

So, Christmas was pretty awesome. I got some awesome gifts, hung out with my friends and family, had a 4-day weekend. All in all, best Christmas ever.

Without question, Allicia is the single greatest aspect of my life. Never have I had someone who was so beautiful, yet so smart and funny. I've also never had someone who 100% let me be who I am. She inspires me to be a good person and to do good things. She knows me so well, she knows how to calm me down, she knows how to make me laugh. She's not afraid to be herself. My friends love her, my family loves her, and vice versa. I love her so much. Everyday is exciting because I know it's another day of spending the rest of my life with her. It's wicked awesome!

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Played a show where people actually enjoyed us.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Nope!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope

5. What countries did you visit?
None!

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
I dunno, 2008 kicked ass as far as my personal life goes.

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
There are a lot to choose from. The day Allicia told me she loved me. The night we saw DEVO.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a lovely new truck after years of driving a POS.

9. What was your biggest failure?
I don't feel like I failed anything this year.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just strep throat.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My truck!.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Gas and food.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Allicia, Devo, my new truck

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
All DEVO.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
Happier or sadder? Happier
Thinner or fatter? Fatter.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
saving money

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
spending money and letting my mind get the best of me

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent christmas with my family, Allicia, and friends!

22. Did you fall in love in 2008?
Oh, yes!

23. How many one-night stands?
None

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Futurama

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Justin.

26. What was the best book you read?
The Watchmen by Alan Moore

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Tough call.

28. What did you want and get?
New truck!

29. What did you want and not get?
Nothing that I can remember. Just some minor stuff I can do without

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Dark Knight

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
21st! Movies then Ralph's!

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Saving my money

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
More sweaters, less black

34. What kept you sane?
Allicia, Zak, Angelo, and Tim.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Steve Derosier.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Sarah Palin.

37. Who did you miss?
Kevin

38. Who was the best new person you met?
I don't know!

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:
Think before you speak

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"Shit my cock, baby! It hurts!"

Right now, things are OK and that is OK by me.

-I love work but the overnight hours are starting to get to me. I feel like I miss out on a lot of fun and by the time the weekend comes, my sleep schedule is messed up. Luckily, I'm not stuck with these hours but I can still make the same pay working days (Either 7am-3pm or 8am-5pm). It's just a matter of me getting the opportunity (It's a bunch of Union mumbo jumbo I don't want to explain/you don't want to hear).

-I got into a pretty bad fight with my best friend over a little thing that turned into a big thing, but we worked through it. I'm glad because it sucks fighting with your best friend.

-Allicia and I are doing great! We're both still very happy and having a lot of fun! I'm so grateful to have her. It's nice having someone who helps you when you need it and supports you with stuff instead of criticizing you and killing your ideas. I'm happy to have such a beautiful person I can talk to, who can put up with my BS, and be lazy with me.

-I've also been thinking about my future. As much as I love Massachusetts, I'm not sure how much longer it'll be my home. The market is so bad, the taxes are horrendous, and I've always hated the cold weather. Looking at houses in Texas and North Carolina are making me consider moving there. BEATIFUL homes go for $100-125,000. That's for a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house with gorgeous land in gorgeous neighborhoods. $100K will get you a kind of nice condo in MA. BUT it's just in my mind right now. I still need to save my money and Allicia and I need to agree on this, too. No way in hell am I going to leave anywhere without her.

Anyways, that's my life and I'm sticking to it.

As of right now, life has been pretty good lately. I've learned to keep my attitude on life at a reasonable level.

-Finally got my money straight.

-Nothing bad has been happening.

haha that's it!

Two things are annoying me, though.

-My older sister, her fiance, and my neice moved back in. For once, it's not their fault so I'm not mad or anything. It just sucks because they live in what was once my drum room which is the room RIGHT outside my room. This translates to no drums, no privacy for Allicia and I (Get your head out of the gutters, we just like relaxing), and I have to be quiet ALL the time. I get home at 6:30-7:00am, the baby is sleeping so I have to be as quiet as a churchmouse. The baby starts bawling at 11am. I wake up and usually can't get back to sleep. If I do sleep through it/get back to sleep, I wake up at 2:00-4:00pm and I have to be quiet because the baby is napping.

-A girlfriend of an acquaintance (Facebook friend) irritated me recently.

You know how us Massholes are, we say gay, homo, fag, and we don't mean it as "Gay people are evil/dumb/lame". It's just slang.

Anyways, I don't talk like that to people unless they talk like that.

I commented on a couple friends photos on Facebook, and used the words "Homo" and "Nigga", respectively. I used those words because that's how we talk to each other. It showed up on this girl's Home Feed and decided to write on my wall (As opposed to the more civil private message) and said it's inappropriate and that she deleted me.

I'm irritated because she makes it seem like I go on fag drags before my Klan meetings. That's just how my friends talk to each other...and only to each other.

I understand that we're "perpetuating the negativity" but those words don't mean anything anymore. Gay used to mean happy and it doesn't mean that anymore.

I'm also irritated that she took it upon herself to PUBLICLY criticize the way my friends and I communicate to each other (Again, and only to each other).

She also got her boyfriend involved. It's not his business. Fuck, it's not HER business.

I don't know. I'm not going to let it get between people, if that does happen it won't be my fault. It'll be theirs for bringing it further.

Seriously, though. Life is good right now.

Life has been on the awesome side as of late. I've matured a great amount and I'm definitely seeing the perks :-).

This past weekend was amazing. I spent damn near 72 hours straight with Allicia and it was fantastic the whole time. This is turning out to be the best summer I've ever had. Scratch that, the best YEAR I've had (so far)

I can't believe how ridiculous I am. I apologize if I offended anyone. I let a couple things SOME friends said to me get to me real bad and I just got so pissed off that it set me off. I feel like such an ass.

I'm so lucky to have you bring me back down when I'm making a fool of myself.

Disregard that post.

I've always been the type of person to take initiative when my life isn't where I want it to be.

So, from now on I will only hang out with people who want to hang out with me. I'll keep treating people the way I would like to be treated and take everyday the same way: Expect the worst. That way when it's not that bad, it turns out to be a good day.

I'm a good person, I deserve to be treated with kindness and respect and if some of my friends are going to continue to bail on me and what not, then I won't hang out with them. Simple as that.

I really, really need to learn how to end LJ entries.
